The Pharmaceutical Society of Namibia (PSN) proudly stands as the independent, professional body for pharmacists, in Namibia.
Our Mission:
To support & provide continuous development to pharmacists, in Namibia.
We give the pharmacy profession a powerful voice in shaping Namibian healthcare policy.
We aim to ensure pharmacists are recognized as the absolute experts in medicine governance, information, and management.

The PSN’s Objectives are as follows:
- To promote the professional, educational and economic interests of the members of the Society and the pharmaceutical profession.
- To uphold and improve the professional integrity and standards of professional conduct of members of the Society.
- To provide a communication platform within the pharmacy profession, as well as other healthcare professionals.
- To improve, promote and maintain the image of the profession.
- To represent the views and interests of the members in all pharmaceutical matters, which includes dealings with government and other similar agencies.
- To uphold and assist in the promotion and maintenance of the health of the people in Namibia through the provision of a safe and dependable pharmaceutical service; including the optimal and responsible use of medicines.
- To provide and promote benefits to its members and to all such matters that may advance the interest of its members.
- To recognize the diversity of the population of Namibia by promoting the participation of all sectors of the Namibian community in the Society’s activities
Representing the Professional, ethical educational and economic interest of Pharmacists and Pharmacy in Namibia.
To improve Pharmaceutical care in Namibia, by supporting and promoting the Pharmacy profession to ensure that pharmacists and ancillary pharmacy professions are recognized as the guardians of the nation’s medicine chest.
